You keep us quite busy and I forget to update this. You are an amazing two year old. You are feisty, demanding, loud, and the sweetest thing I know. You aren't eating much other than milk and cereal right now. Tonight you threw a 45 minute temper tantrum which was all about cereal.. You have a big heart and a strong will - I believe you will grow up to be a fabulous woman!

You love pink, babies, books, and anything outside. Your favorite friend right mow is Jakers who lives next door.

You can count in English and Spanish and are talking in full sentences. You know most of your colors and some shapes.

I haven't forgotten

I haven't forgotten about this blog - I just don't always have the time to update. You keep us pretty busy little girl.. Right now I love how you are singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. You know all the words - as well as you know the words to you are my Sunshine..

Lilly you truly are my sunshine. I work in a job that is usually not happy and we are in a time in America where lots of people sad. I love that I can come home each day to find you, to amaze in you, and to love you.

You make me laugh everyday - even last night when you were so tired - all you could do was cry and throw a fit, I was able to laugh.

Today you went to Grammy's house and you ran right in to play with your dolls. We are so lucky that you have grandparents that love you to pieces..

I will try to keep us with this more.

Zoo and counting...

Today we went to the zoo and you loved all of the animals.. You are beginning to show signs of fear too which I guess is good, but it is hard for me to watch. You were really scared of a waterfall. It is getting harder and harder to take pictures of you because you move around so much.

Today you surprised your dad and I by counting to 10 with just a little help. You are an amazing little girl! I am so proud of you everyday.

You know so many words now we couldn't even begin to count. You are saying sentences like "I like it" "Come here Dada" "I ride bike" "I silly" You understand how to fake cry and fake laugh and trick your mom and dad. You are truly amazing.

You love to give kisses and have been doing so for a long time - you blow kisses, give kisses on the lips, and today you wanted Mommy and Daddy to kiss (many, many times) How could you have known that we needed that today? Thanks for always bringing us joy and for bringing us back to what matters most - our family.

You slept through the night last night - From 730 pm until 600 am.. Woohoo!! This is not the first time this has happened but since it doesn't happen often, I am always happy when it does.

Right now you are napping in the afternoon for about 2 - 2 1/2 hours as well.

I love when you are awake to play with me, but I also love when you are alseep..

I'm starting this blog to tell you all of the things that you do to make me smile. I so wish I had started this when you were born, but you will learn soon enough that your mom is always a little bit behind. My hope is that one day you will read this and know just how much we loved you. It will also be a way for me to keep track of all of the fun stuff you did.

Today you made me smile by trying to go potty on the potty and wanting to read a book. I love how the moment you sit on the potty you demand a book.

You started your day by asking for your daddy who has been on a hunting trip for the past couple of days - he is coming home today and I know you will be so excited to play with him..

Your favorite things to do right now are - talk on the phone, play with your babies, and sing songs.. Last night you wanted to sit on a bench outside and just sing songs.. You have all of your teeth except your two year molars. You love to eat meat, pickles, apple sauce, banannas, grapes, raisons, blueberries, chicken nuggets, and lots of other foods..

I love that you pretend to put your babies to sleep, say "I love you" all the time, and love saying your name.. YOu can count to two, do lots of puzzles, climb stairs, buckle a buckle, eat with a spoon and fork (messily), take off your diaper, walk backwards, say many 3 word sentences, and know more words than we can count. Everyday you learn new words.

Lilly I love you more than I could ever imagine loving someone. I hope that I can be the best mom to you!
